Can’t restore backups anymore (Publii-0.44.3)

    Hi there!

    I use two instances of my website:

    production
    development

    Once I am done, I do a backup of “development”, copy the tar file over to “production” and restore it as my new version of production.

    Unfortunately this does not work anymore, as I can’t see the “Restore” button anymore.

    Could you please get this fixed? – Thank you!

    Temporarily disabled the direct backup restoration option from the backup list on Windows. Please use the “Install from Backup” feature located on the “Add New Website” screen instead.

    Restore and Backup is really helpful, please make it work asap.

    Uppps! I should have scrolled all the way down. <blush>

    Nevertheless. This direct Backup and Restore feature is very handy in my process working with publii.
    I do understand, that there are some issues, that can’t be resolved immediately, so take your time. πŸ™‚

    The work-around is what it is called. Not bad, but not good either.

    So I heartily agree with cineray: If there is a chance to make it useable for Windoze users again, I would be the very first to applause!! πŸ™‚

    We’ve fixed the issue and brought back the restore function for Windows in our latest update (version 0.44.4 hotfix).
