gallery images are not responsive

Hi, I use the Mercury theme and enabled the responsive images. But the gallery images are not responsive. The original full size images are used.

Yes, this is how the gallery should work, in the post you have small thumbnails, but after zooming in, the original photo is loaded.

Thanks for the answer. Then I will resize them before uploading. It would be nice if Publii had a setting for the size of the gallery images
