Is there a way to manage multiple static pages?

    Hi there,

I am set to be producing a website for a small business, which requires some blog-like features. I wanted to avoid WordPress, because it is unnecessarily complex for this use case, requires a whole server/VPS (i.e. can’t be run on a CDN like Cloudflare Pages), and is from my experience slow and annoying. I found Publii via a Reddit thread and it looks absolutely wonderful, and I want to use it for this project. However, this site won’t  just be a blog, and also needs static pages other than the home page (i.e. about, contact). I wanted to also allow my eventual customers to edit the content of these pages at will.

I couldn’t find any information about how to do this (forgive me if there is some), so I wanted to ask if it was at all possible to add additional editable pages that themselves aren’t posts. This will help me to know whether Publii will suit this project or not.

    Thanks for reading this 😉

This topic has been discussed multiple times, so I recommend searching the forum for more information. In short, you can mark a post as ‘hidden,’ making it appear as though it has been removed from the post loop. Additionally, you have the option to disable various post elements such as the date, author name, and so on. Lastly, you can create a dedicated post template using any HTML structure you prefer and assign it to your hidden posts.

Thanks, I’ll look more into it.
