Overrided theme not saving?

I wanted to add a reddit share button option to posts and a reddit button to the footer, but how do I get it to work? I overrided the “simple theme” and the code looks correct.

I synced my website into and published my website and it has the overrided changes in the output folder, but nothing looks different. How does this work? Thanks.

Hey there! Where did you save the footer.hbs? Can you share the folder tree / structure?

I ask because when you override, your overrided files should be saved as:

Publii > sites > [YOUR SITE NAME] > input > themes > simple-override > partials > footer.hbs
