Problem in customizing Blank theme without sidebar

I am trying to remove the sidebar from the Blank theme, I removed all the sidebar related code in hbs and config.json, visual-override.js etc.

But now I cannot save setting of the theme, like the logo and Main width in Layout.

What are the possible causes that could make the theme setting failed to save?

I think I deleted those code/settings related to Author that make Publii behave strange. No problem if I delete only those related to sidebar.
