Showcase of Publii sites

Hi all,

I believe this topic has come up before regarding a common place to showcase the wonderful websites created using Publii.

There are many talented users, including the creators Bob and Tomasz, who have shown that Publii can be used not only limited to blogs.

I’m hoping we could have a section on this forum where one can check out real websites that stretch the capabilities of Publii in creative ways.

I’m not related to any of the following websites/authors but found their amazing websites built with Publii:

It took me a while to understand the concept of Publii, but now I’m thrilled. Here is my page in somewhat unusual colours.

It looks like a paid account is required to view all the sites. It would be nice if we had our own directory to showcase all our amazing sites!

I am updating http://www,bjourne,com – an old image site mostly for friends and family – using Publii. My goal is to take the old website, update it in Publlii, and add content so Google will like it. Google likes it well enough after only a few days. I got my first search click-through yesterday.

I have a ton of content to add but there is enough content to get the idea.

The old site was soooooo 90’s and needed a face lift. The TechNews theme fills the bill perfectly. I may create a custom theme in the future based upon the TechNews theme. I already started on the new theme.

I have some research to add to image pages as well as 3000 images to create posts for. I have dozens more stories to add that I posted on a old website. I just have to find where I put it. I know that I have a backup, but where?

So far so good. I will be very busy from time to time updating this site!

Nice showcase of websites created with Publii! I’ve been working with Publii for a few years now, and it has proven a great tool. Love working with it!

The changing of the background images in the upper part of the homepage is based on css that is discribed in this article:
