Hi. I’m wondering if and how it would be possible to connect Publii posts to ActivityPub – e.g. be able to follow them on Mastodon. There is such a plugin for WordPress and it works quite nicely, and I was wondering if something like this would be possible for Publii?

I don’t think SSG like Publii can implement much of ActivityPub, see https://s3lph.me/activitypub-static-site.html

I’m considering the same, and looking into Bridgy Fed: https://fed.brid.gy

It looks like in order to connect your site to the fediverse, you have to add some redirects (this forum post might help if you’re using Netlify), and add a representative h-card.

It’s also strongly recommended to add Webmentions, but I haven’t looked into doing that for static sites.
