Add FediVerse Handles (Follow Buttons)

For several years, I’m on Mastodon, a Microblogging service in the FediVerse.

It would be nice, to have on Publii the ability to add FediVerse handles, like it’s possible for Twitter etc.

Is it possible to extend the items of Follow Buttons in the settings in a way, that all templates can use it?

You’ll want to create a theme override, find the icon you need in SVG format, add it to the SVG file(s) in your site input folders, and edit the partial which contains all the social media icons.

If you’re building a theme for other, you may have to edit the config.json using the Theme Settings API: https://getpublii.com/dev/theme-settings-api/
