    Hi,

first I’d like to say that I am very impressed by Publii and the job you guys do.

I have a question concerning uploading several photos at once to a gallery. As a photog your are not keen on repeating the same task 15, 20 or more times just to get some images to your installation/server.

    Could that be changed?

Another question concerns featured images. Once I have imported hundreds of old posts from WP, it would be nice to have the option to pull the featured image from the post automagically – first image for example. That would save a LOT of work.

    Regards,

    M.

You can do that, just select multiple images and well done.

Sorry, Bob. It does not work. Just the first image appears in the editor. But even with just this one the post does not render.

That was drag-and-drop. The file-selection-dialog does not open at all.

To create a gallery you have to click the Gallery button from the top menu in the WYSIWYG editor or select the Gallery block in the Block Editor.

Thanks for the clarification. I came across this a couple of times in various CMS during the last 30 years 😉

Something weird is going on here with the upload dialog. Drag-and-drop of more than one photos is definitely not working.

    I’ll make a clean install. We’ll see.

What about the question about Featured Images?

After switching to the block-editor, things work like they should. It was an issue with TinyMCE obviously.
