Is there any way to better manage images and other media (video, audio, etc) in publii?

I would love to be able to add images and other media to the site once and then re-link them. Rather than having to add them individually every time from the post editor.

There are a few ways that this can be done. One is to be able to add media like wordpress and then select from there with filters like unlinked, etc.

    Thanks,

    JM

Bumping this. I am using Publii for a personal site with very large images. I would like to be able to link/insert images that are already in the folders rather than inserting them again.

It is odd that I have to insert the same image twice if I want it in the gallery AND the featured image.

    Thanks,

    JM

Guys, how much would I need to donate to get this done?

To make it clearer, this is what I’m talking about.

I created a test site where I created a post with a single image and used the same image as the “featured”.

Both are added to the site, with the “duplicate” having “-2” at the end. Then there are almost 2x the number of responsive images created.

For this test it isn’t a big deal, but the much larger photos I will be adding to my blog are going to start to add up quick,

Some kind of Cloudinary plugin would be great: https://cloudinary.com/documentation/digital_asset_management_overview

Their free tier seems to be pretty generous.
