Can edit posts database?

I imagine Publii keeps information about posts that have been created in some kind of database somewhere? Is it possible to edit this db? I wonder about this because I would like to have a URL like this mywebsite.com/today but because I once had a post called ‘today’ and trashed it, it seems I can no longer have a post with a slug ‘today’. Publii insists that it must be called ‘today-2’. Grateful for any hints!

There’s no need to edit the database.

Open the “Trashed” tab and select the old unwanted post to permanently remove it.

Your new post’s slug will be “today” and not renamed to “today-2”

    Remove-post-permanently
