Hello!

I came across Publii some time ago and I’m deeply impressed!! It’s an amazing tool if you want to publish good looking zero maintenance websites with full blog functionality and with as little coding as possible. I’ve tried several different flat file CMS/static site generators and most of them lack a lot of functions. Publii seems to have most of what I need – thanks for doing this!

I’m going to move one of my blogs over to Publii and I’m using the Taste theme. But how do I make posts get the image-only layout (like the “Grilled vegetable terrine..” post in the demo) on the frontpage? I haven’t found anything in the site/theme/post settings but maybe I’m missing something?

There is no option for that, it requires some changes in the CSS. I will try to deliver this card’s layout soon.

Hey Bob, when can we expect this functionality? I chose this theme precisely because of the nice looking layout with a full size thumbnail in the middle. Too bad it can’t be recreated easly in Publii client.

Go ahead! Just download and install the 2.2.0.0 version. The Cards settings include the new layout option: default and compact.

i set featured post and layout to compact, but still full size thumbnail not in the middle like in the live preview

I see on your screenshot that the compact layout works as it should.
To get the effect like on the demo, just set the grid/sixth layout.

thanks for the very quick answer 😀 , all of the cards still darken, in the live preview only on the featured post. i set image height 19rem

This is because you are using the compact card layout.
