Quick question for anyone who’s used Ghost and chose Publii instead, I’m curious: why Publii?

I’m researching blogging platforms for my freelancing, and I’m stuck between Ghost and Publii.

    Any pointers?

The use cases are largely different, in my view.  Ghost offers community-building and subscription / monetization options right out-of-the-box, but have hefty hosting requirements (especially since it operates on a modern, non-LAMP stack).  Publii, on the other hand, seems like a straight-forward option if you want a basic site or blog without significant community-building and monetization / commercialization options right out of the gate.
