git repository sync : images and videos

Hi !

The ability of updating a single site from multiple computers/users is a very interesting thing, easier than sharing backups files.

But I am wondering how the git repository sync handkes images, videos and more generally all media files. Are they all uploaded on the git repo or only the text and config files ?

If so, the repository may have to be quite large, hasn’t it ?

Hi,

The current git repository sync method is not a tool for managing website from multiple devices. Sync stores only output files. For mechanism which you have described, you need to store on git also input files what is currently not supported.
