I’m a bit confused how exactly the Github API limit affects my syncs.

    https://github.com/GetPublii/Publii/issues/488

Here it says there’s a limit of 4000 files?

So if I have more than 4000 posts I can’t sync my website anymore? I’m confused…

    Hi,

Not exactly. It is not a limit for posts – it is a limit for files to sync. But yes – due Github API rate limitations at this moment it can be impossible to sync on Github big websites which have thousands of posts. For such websites I suggest to use Netlify or classic SFTP/FTP hosting.
