At this moment documentation for the plugins is unavailable, because plugins API is still experimental, and we want to share documentation, when we will know that API is stable to avoid situation that some Publii changes in API will break plugins created by community.

Would it be possible to add at least this stub/short explanation to the Developer documentation over at https://getpublii.com/dev/ so that other interested parties can easily find it? There seems to be some interest, and people end up confused either here on the forum or Github… Thank you!
I too tried to find info on creating a plugin and could not find it.
Perhaps with the knowledge that the plugin API and documentation is in Alpha or Beta or whatever, people can still begin developing plugins as things shake out without guarantee.
