Hi I can’t find a docs/gudie on how to write custom plugin. Should we add the guide ?

At this moment documentation for the plugins is unavailable, because plugins API is still experimental, and we want to share documentation, when we will know that API is stable to avoid situation that some Publii changes in API will break plugins created by community.

Hi @Tomasz, this is quite useful information, thank you for the details.

Would it be possible to add at least this stub/short explanation to the Developer documentation over at so that other interested parties can easily find it? There seems to be some interest, and people end up confused either here on the forum or Github… Thank you!

I agree with this – both the post and reply.

I too tried to find info on creating a plugin and could not find it.

Perhaps with the knowledge that the plugin API and documentation is in Alpha or Beta or whatever, people can still begin developing plugins as things shake out without guarantee.
