I’d like to add a page (post) to /tag/.

When posting a new post with that slug it gets renamed to /tag-2/

How do I add a page to /tag/ using Publii?

    Thanks!

    Hi eicker,

Most likely the “tag” slug is in use by another post. So, when you try to use the same again, Publii automatically changes it by adding the suffix -2.

Well, “/tag/” is the slug between your Publii domain and your Publii tags.

But there is no content, no page at /tag/, sadly. That’s why I’d like to add a post there

So: How do I add a post to /tag/ using Publii?

Add this tag to any post and then visit the  / tag / page, it should contain all posts tagged with your tag.

I know how to tag posts!?

    https://domain.tld/ <- manageable by > Theme > Hero Section

    https://domain.tld/tag/tagname/ <- manageable by >Tags settings

    But how do I manage:

    https://domain.tld/tag/

How do I add content to /tag/?

ah ok, it’s not possible to add any content to the /tag/ page right now, but the next Publii release will change it, and the tags page will display a collection of all tags  https://github.com/GetPublii/Publii/issues/725

    Perfect! That’s what’s missing.

But it’s really important to make that page manageable:

    1. I definitely want a list of all used tags – a pretty tag cloud would be perfect but a simple list sufficent.
    2. But I really want to add text to this page as well. It should be editable just like any other post, followed by the list/cloud of tags.

    Thank you!

Editable, included in the language file will be the title and description of this page, but nothing prevents you from editing the tags.hbs page yourself.
