How do I change the background colour of my site to a darker colour?

    I’m trying to change my site from it’s current blinding white background to a kind of “dark theme” version of it. I’ve looked in the menu system but can’t find the setting. Can anyone help me out? I’ll keep looking into CSS to do the same thing.
