I’m looking for a way to generate posts in Public from some data stored in a spreadsheet .

In the docs, I found that it’s possible to customize the rendering process on the one hand, and on the other there’s a global variable storing the content structure but I don’t really know if my goal can be achieved using those options.

Hi,

Unfortunately it is not possible at this moment. The only solution would be creating WXR file (WordPress Export XML file) which will be imported via Tools -> WP Import

I’d just want to ask if importing new posts this way might not affect my existing posts.

We strongly recommend to import posts only for new websites. Importing new posts for existing website can lead to some side-effects. In such case I recommend to make a backup before import, then import posts and check if everything is ok.
