How to style the sitemap?

I have tried placing my sitemap.xsl in the root-files and custom theme folder but it is not accepted. Publii keeps using the default styling. How can I change that?

Hi,

I have found the reason – Publii firstly copies the files to the output and then generates the sitemap, what leads to an override.

In Publii v.0.45 I will add an additional check which will prevent of using default sitemap.xsl file if it exists in the output directory earlier

This has been fixed in the latest hotfix 0.44.3. Marking it as closed.
