It would be great to have the possibility to not display anything at all. If someone set this to 0 it should remove the three dots, in my humble opinion.

Hi,

you can try removing the {{{excerpt}}} handlebar from index.hbs or tag.hbs file (and its html tag).

I recommend using the theme override to not miss the changes after the theme updates:
