    In the Website Speed menu, I un-select “Enable responsive images” because people are telling me it doesn’t work, or they load very, very slowly. When hitting “save settings”, it prompts to “regenerate thumbnails”, which then results in

    “The responsive images are disabled under site settings – all responsive images has been removed.”

    However, now none of the image galleries have thumbnails anymore. This leads to empty galleries, but clicking on the empty spot reveals the full size image.

    I wanted to regenerate thumbnails, not wipe all non-original images. I expected all of the responsive images to be removed. So I can have responsive images and thumbnails, or nothing?

    What am I doing wrong?

    Here’s what I mean. The regenerate thumbnails wiped the -thumbnail.jpg files:

    <figure class="gallery__item">

    </figure>

    Apparently it’s impossible to paste valid html code in the forum:

    <figure class=”gallery__item”>

    </figure>

    I checked it out and it works very well. Regardless of whether the “Enable responsive images” option is enabled or disabled, Publii always displays thumbnails for the Gallery.

    Ps: to paste the code click the {…}  icon on the WYSIWYG bar.
