It would be nice to consider implementing Web Stories proposed by Google to stay ahead with the SEO.

The truth is that AMP is dying, in the context of having a lightweight, responsive static site, you don’t need AMP to rank well in the mobile search results.

I don’t think that’s entirely true Bob, there are many sites that only use the AMP version, this year I have attended several online sessions (the last one on December 10) for Adsense publishers taught by Google experts and in none of them They have mentioned that AMP is dying. On the contrary, they encourage us to use them.

As for Web Stories, here is a recent video from Google. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp6IUgUXJds

Thanks for your point of view. While I understand Google will push for his own product, WordPress also push for this because it is an open way to compete with Facebook/Instagram Story.

Also; I understand using flexbox from scratch over a framework is probably faster but, personally I think if the focus is helping the community and to build a community having a commons framework which define rules help a lot.

Often I think Publii is simply a way to market 2 dudes which sell their time, which I’m fine with it, I just simply think Publii is not the most transparent project.

Also often, Bob is opinionated, which again, I could understand, this is how he could focus and reach his personal goal, but again this, IMO, conflict with the Open Source Project idea.

Anyway; Publii obviously fill a gaps of a need.

I thought that everything is clear and clarified. If not, we can improve it, I think. Just let me know your point of view, what exactly is not transparent, why do you think so?

I express my opinions based on my experience and observation of the market. You have a right to yours, I have a right to mine.

Where do you see a conflict? Sit quietly, develop the product, and implement all your ideas – that’s not what open source is all about.

What stands in the way of implementing AMP stories by you? It would be a great contribution to the open-source environment and the crowning achievement of the open-source idea.
