Issue in setting a site name.

    I am using publii and currently one site is working fine. (LOGYC Notes)

    Today when I am trying another site and want to rename it (new site) I am getting error Provided sitname is in use please try another.

    But I don’t have any site with that name, then why am I facing this issue.

    Please help me.

    You have to look if a file with the same name already is in use. Try to start new. Mostly the problem is solved than.

    As you can see in the image I only have two sites. I have to name it LOGYC Store but I cant? Which file are you talking about?

    PS: got it I previously created the site and later deleted it, and therefore I was unable to create it. Now I deleted the file in Publii Folder & it worked. Thanks @worf1155

    Hi,

    Maybe it is caused by fact that the trash module has bad support on linux (if you are using it) and the website folder is not properly removed.

    In Publii v.0.38 we will:

    • update trash module (it can also solve some issues on mac OS and Windows)
    • go back to unlink instead of trash on linux
