A new post I made today does not show up as featured, but I did Mark it. Any other change for homepage changing neighter works. Please help. I did update to the newest version just before I wanted a new front post.
On the pictures you see the Mark feature post and the actual situation.

I noticed that the index.html at output folder and preview folder is not updated to latest Mark feature. They are not rendered/ saved. (?)

    Hi Bert,

Not all themes support featured posts; sometimes, these posts are displayed in the sidebar or dedicated spaces. At times, they are additionally styled, for example, with Featured icons, but in the Simple theme, they are not specially treated.

But I always could choose from a post on the frontpage with Simple template, now it got stuck with one post, and even if I exclude from hompage in stays on home page 😥

I tried older Publii version, but to no use.

Could you please take a closer look?

    -in the meantime-

After disabling and enabling front page displays I have now the desired post at front page 🙂
