No spaces between words shown in the UI of the editor

Publii (v.0.37.2 build 13830 beta) has stopped displaying space characters between words. This affects the whole UI as well as all existing posts (when displayed in the editor) but those created with the block editor. Post and site preview work well, though. Some sample pics here:

I suspect of a recent system update (Manjaro Linux, KDE 5.22.5, kernel 5.10.70-1), but not really sure what I could do to solve this (maybe updating to Publii 0.38.3-1), so I would very much appreciate any advice, just in case this is an already known issue that has an easy workaround.

Well, 0.38.3-1 solves the problem (I was reluctant to update for wrong reasons) :-).
