Please add support for the blank target Markdown code which many CMS support

    Please support the above simple Markdown code which many static-file CMSes support. It is very useful if we want to add links to the clean Markdown editor (in which I always write in) which open in a new blank tab, without having to change the global target for all the links on our Publii sites. Thanks.

    If you need to use custom attributes in a link just use a HTML for them:

    To be honest I see this syntax for the first time, and it seems to be a non-standard one. I cannot find it on even on https://www.markdownguide.org/extended-syntax

    So at this moment we won’t add it, especially due fact that it will need changes in the markdown editor and parser. In the marked parser this syntax concept seems to be ignored by authors: https://github.com/markedjs/marked/issues/655

    That syntax is Kramdown. https://kramdown.gettalong.org/
