Question for those who already use the Static Search plugin or the Publii team

    Hello,

I would like to add a search function to one of my sites and I see that the plugin looks interesting but…

Most of my data for each article are stored in “Post config options”.
A dedicated Post.hbs template is used to display all config options data.

My question is: is the plugin capable of indexing the content of fields in config options?

I want to be sure that it’s not just the content of {{text}} that’s used for indexing.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

We will add this option soon, because it is a good idea – then it will be also possible to use the custom fields for indexation purpose for this plugin ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi,

We’ve recently updated our Search Static plugin (v.1.3.0) to include indexing of “Post Config options,” addressing your need to index content beyond the `{{text}}`. This new feature allows you to enable indexing for selected Post Config fields, which you can specify and include in your theme.

I’ll have to see if the project I’m working on at the moment is a success because then I’ll need this module and I’ll buy it. Thanks for adding the option!
Regarding this same request, if the project works and to optimise it, I’ve added this request/suggestion : https://github.com/GetPublii/Publii/issues/1293

    Thank you again,
