Questions about GitHub+ Cloudflare as hosting. Is it really unlimited?

Miscellaneous questions about github+Cloudflare as hosting.

I have switched to Cloudflare basically for one thing. Netlify is perfect, but if I suffer a DDos attack the bandwidth skyrockets and you can get to the point where you get a very high bill if the attack takes you up to the maximum contracted bandwidth. There is no possible protection that I have seen and it is really terrifying in this sense.

With Cloudflare so far I only see pros but I have a couple of doubts because it is integrated with Github.

    • Who is really hosting?
    • Is the bandwidth really unlimited in Cloudflare?
    • Are there any duplication problems for those 3 urls that are generated (
    • Are there any big drawbacks to use the free plan?
