When I upload some images, either as a gallery, single image, or hero image, the image appears as rotated 90 degrees within Publii. The images also upload as rotated, but for galleries I have sometimes had the full-size image load correctly.

I’m sure this has something to do with rotation data for photos shot from my phone, but these images are rotated correctly when viewing them on my PC (I’m on Windows). If I edit the rotation within windows manually I can get the pictures to work correctly, but I don’t want to have to do this for every photo when they are oriented correctly elsewhere.

Is there a way to add image rotation when we are adding images to Publii? I am sure there is some code to do this, but it happens for Hero Images too, and I don’t know how to edit the code related to those.

    I’m using Publii 0.37.3.

    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, Publii does not offer an image rotation tool.
