Simple Theme 2.8.1.0 Tag Error?

    Hi there. LOVE Publii!

I noticed there was a recent update to the Simple theme to version 2.8.1.0. I’ve updated the theme in the Site Settings and republished my blog. Now, I notice a small error where the tag(s) appear on any particular blog post. Immediately after the tag(s) the word “false” appears on the page. An examination of the element shows the word appearing as text in the post_footer section.

Might this have been inadvertently introduced in the last theme update?

Attach a backup of your site in private mode, then I’ll check what’s up because I can’t reproduce it myself.

Alas, I do. See the pic. I also attached the bit from the source. I see this both in Chromium-based and Firefox browsers.

I found it. It was a problem with the checkIf function, which was caused by an error when parsing arguments in Handlebars. This error occurred when the SocialSharing plugin was not installed, so I did not see the error at first. Updating Handlebars to the latest version didn’t help either, so I applied another workaround that now works correctly.

Just update the theme to version 2.8.2.0, it should help.
