Hi. Not sure if this even matters but I am curious.

I noticed for my sitemap, this is the URLs

https://cute.com/contact-us.html

But if you really go to the web site, the browser address is not .html but the browser is showing this as https://cute.com/contact-us

I am wondering why that’s the case. Not sure is there a setting for this to make them consistent.

Hi,

HTML extension is not used if pretty URLs are enabled – you can see it here: https://getpublii.com/dev/sitemap.xml

The mentioned case can be related to a server configuration when all URLs are redirected to non-html URLs, but in fact pretty URLs are not used in Publii

Unfortunately the mentioned URLs are not working so I cannot check it deeper
