    Hi,

How many posts and tags do you have on your website which you want to render?

    Hello

    1700 post, 17000 tag

Post extraction successful. But it gives an error while extracting the tag.

I will need to check if we are able to fix it for such big amount of tags.

Which OS are you using with Publii?

    Hi again,

I have prepared a potential fix – if you will provide me information which OS are you using, I will be able to share with you Publii package for your OS which contains this fix, to test if it helps 🙂

Please try to install this version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W25qTnskq07LAU2Ll51sHVRqlUHy_IzV/view?usp=sharing

Important: this exe file is unsigned so it can require additional confirmation during install.

I have added simple cache for files, so Publii shouldn’t open tag.hbs file more than once during rendering a website what should solve your problem 🙂

That’s really weird – are you able to share with me a backup of your website, so I will be able to try reproduce this issue on my machine? Maybe the problem lies in different place.

Thanks for the file. For me it is rendering correctly on mac OS. But to be honest – Publii is not adjusted yet for such big websites – with so many posts and tags. On my macbook pro with M1 it is laggy or not loading at all such amount of data.

Additionally import on my site does not connect tags with posts, so it can be another issue for your case.

I think that we will adjust Publii to be more efficient for such big websites, but at this moment I think it is a bad idea to use Publii for such big sites – in fact using static sites for such amount of subpages is a bad idea – when you change something simple like heading in top – you must upload 20k files again :/
