I am using Taste theme for my blog and the lazy load relies on JS to load the images. Turning off JS in the browser doesn’t load the images in the posts. I read the forum posts and the 0.36 release post that mentions Publii uses native lazy load, but Taste has a snippet of JS in the footer.hbs for lazy load. Even commenting out this script disables the loading of images.

The images are loaded, but the fade-in effect is not realized when javascript is disabled, so finally, they are not visible.
You can quickly fix it by disabling this effect in Theme settings → Additional → Lazy Load effect change to NONE.

Omg haha. That was it! Feeling silly for not figuring it out myself. Thanks for the quick response, Bob! Appreciate it.
