    Publii 0.42.1

    Theme technews 2.6.1.0

    Is anyone else having a problem with the paragraph tags <p> and </p> showing up on the technews theme around the author page description?

    @tane

    Just tested Technews 2.6.1.0 with the latest version of Publii with the current latest version of Apple macOS: no problems found – author page description displays as expected.

    Which OS are you using?

    Perhaps, under your authors list, choose an author, then in the Edit Author right-side panel > Description, in the mini-editor toolbar, choose the Source code button. You should have:

    <p>Author description text here.</p>

    Debian 11.7 (Sorry, forgot to add that)

    Yes, I checked the source and it is in there and if I remove it from there it happens anyway.

    OK, just tried to input some screenshots and got random pictures. 🙂

    Here is a link instead: https://tane.harre.nz/authors/tane/

    It looks like you might be overwriting the author.hbs file, which could be causing issues with the new author option. You can find more about it in this topic: https://forum.getpublii.com/topic/the-new-tag-author-options-in-publii-0-42-0/

    I also saw this happening on one of the “Showcase” sites:
