    Hello Publii Lovers !

I am looking for a system that would make it possible to “upvote” or “like System” on articles for the “resource” theme. maybe via a comment system or other, has anyone already created such a site?

    Thank you In advance !

    Hi Andy,

I use GraphComment which is a plugin Publii offers, it is free to use and has an ‘upvoting’ system so you can add ‘likes’. Article for install and use here: https://getpublii.com/docs/graphcomment-plugin.html

    Hope it helps

    Hello !

    Thanks for the feedback 🙂

do you have a sample site?

Because it seems that the likes proposed by graphcomment are just for comments?
I’m really looking for a Voting/Downvoting system as can be seen in “New Features Voting Systems” for open source software for example.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Doesn’t sound like GraphComment will be the thing you are after then. There is a demo on https://demo.graphcomment.com/en/graphcomment-demo/ which shows the ‘voting’, but it is based on Comments. Sounds like you might need someone else’s help on this site for your request. You could have a look at https://www.upvoty.com/ it’s a 14 day trial, maybe that might meet your needs.

Sorry I can’t be of more help to you

If you’re strictly looking for feature upvotes, Fider might be a better platform for your needs: https://fider.io/ It’s a bit like an open-source version of upvoty.

Otherwise, if you’re keen on staying with Publii but want to make use of an external component, I’d recommend:

Waline: It’s a self-hosted, open source comment system, but allows for customizable post reactions: https://waline.js.org/en/guide/features/reaction.html#customize-reactions

Applause button: Not quite upvotes, and hasn’t been updated in a while, but might be useful: https://github.com/ColinEberhardt/applause-button
