I was looking to update my theme. After sustaining permanent brain damage from smashing my head into the wall, I found a mail that says my six months access to your theme file is expired.

With Publii, if you want updated theme files, you must pay every six months? Is this correct?

    Yeap, exactly.

When your file access expires you will no longer be elegible to product updates, though you may continue to use the theme as-is without restrictions. A notification regarding the end of the access period will be automatically sent to the email address specified during the checkout process, with the option to renew access to updates for an additional six months.

Should you decide to purchase renewed access, you may do so at a 50% discount on the original listed price, however, this will not include an additional 3 months of technical support; For support beyond this initial period, contact our Customization Service.

    Right.

Came off as devious since there was little mention of this subscription model during purchase. I suppose the fine print ought to be better read next time. Thanks.

What licence covers themes?  is it General Public License v3.0 like Publii?
