We have just released a new version of Publii 0.38.2 which comes with the following improvements:

    • fixed a sitemap bug when the Pretty URLs are enabled and the tag prefix is empty in the URL
    • fixed a problem with ignoring settings for no index tags pagination when the above configuration is active.
    • added WebP support for galleries
    • fixed sync window behavior: as long as the window is not minimized, will not disappear.
    • fixed an issue with the unnecessary “/” folder  when syncing with Google Cloud

    Hello,

I tried to sync my site (N-tech theme) with manual deployment and got the error

    Rendering process failed
An error occurred during rendering process:
Cannot read property ‘normal’ of undefined

    Any help is appreciated

Did have posts made with “Markdown” editor?
I encountered the same error when I had post created with markdown.

    See my post https://forum.getpublii.com/topic/rendering-process-fail-if-there-is-a-post-made-with-markdown-editor/

All my site was done with markdown and worked perfectly with version 0.38.

To fix I needed to roll back to the 0.38 version

@yamkopp @shaun2k – it seems that windows package is affected by missing package update. We will release today/tomorrow the updated package – I will let you know here.

    Thanks for your reports 🙂

@yamkopp @shaun2k – please redownload the Windows package – the issue with markdown should be fixed now.

I get this error when syncing:

A JavaScript error occurred in the main process

    Uncaught Exception:
    Error [ERR_IPC_CHANNEL_CLOSED]: Channel closed
    at ChildProcess.target.send (internal/child_process.js:679:16)
    at IpcMainImpl.<anonymous> (C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Programs\Publii\resources\app.asar\back-end\events\deploy.js:53:44)
    at IpcMainImpl.emit (events.js:315:20)
    at IpcMainImpl.EventEmitter.emit (domain.js:483:12)

    at Object.emit (events.js:315:20)
    at Object.EventEmitter.emit (domain.js:483:12)

Update made from 0.36 to 0.38 and I get the same error. Why is this happening to me? Why God, why? 🙁  😭

What can I do to fix it? Thank!

@mnm – do you get this error during sync or when canceling sync?

@Tomasz I get the error when I stop the sync. But I do cancel because it doesn’t sync all the way. Stops when syncing images.

The sync stops at this point and I have to cancel.

@mnm – the described error is caused by clicking cancel not the sync itself. Please check if you have in Tools -> Log viewer some errors, especially under deployment-* log files.

    Hi,

I couldn’t open a new topic for the new release (v.0.38.3 (build 14238)), but where can I download the installer? 🙂

As fas as I see the GitHub page contains only the source code.

    Thanks!
